Blue Springs High School is a 2008 Missouri Gold Star School.

Next Late Start is Monday, November 24th.

Golden Regiment Rose Parade Apparel is available for pre-order only through Tues., Nov. 25th.  Click on the link to the left "Rose Parade Shirt Order Form" to view a draft of the shirt design and to download the order form.  Contact njorgensen@bssd.net with any questions.

No School Wednesday - Friday, Nov. 26-29, 2008 for Thanksgiving Break.

Breakfast Now Available at BSHS! We are now serving breafast here in the cafeteria from 6:55 am - 7:20 am each morning. Cost is only $1.25!

Auditions for the spring musical "Into the Woods" will be November 17-19. Audition packets are available in Ms. Lowman or Mr. Rudolph's room. Show runs Feb. 11-14, 2009.

2008-09 Night School Applications are due back to the Counseling Office by November 25, 2008. (Download the Night School Application form on the left under "Guidance Dept.") Night will be held at Blue Springs High School from 4:30 - 7:30 pm every Tuesday and Thursday starting on January 6, 2009.

Cell Phone Policy:  Students are NOT allowed to use their cell phones for any reason during class time (even if they are outside the classroom).  Students ARE allowed to use their cell phones during all passing periods and their scheduled lunch time.  Students who use their cell phones inappropriately will be sent to their principal's office for a discipline referral with the following consequences:  1st offense - Saturday Detention; 2nd offense - 2 days of ISD (in-school detention); 3rd offense - 3 days of OSS (out of school suspension).

No Parking - there is no student parking in the Blue Springs Assembly Church parking lot (across the street from the school).

BSHS is a closed campus for lunch. Students are not allowed to leave campus dirng 5th hour lunch period, outside food from restaurants cannot be brought in to students and visitors cannot eat lunch with students. If a student must leave during 5th hour, they will only be excused with a doctor's note or if a parent is with the student to check them out and back in to school.
