Gold Medal School District Winner

Expansion magazine has named the Blue Springs School District a Gold Medal School District winner for 2007. This "Education Quotient" provides readers a way to compare school districts nationwide in terms of quality and is based on three indices: Graduate Outcome (how well students learn and how many stay to graduation), Resource Index (which measures the community's financial committment to education), and the Community Index (which measures the community's adult education and income level). The Blue Springs School District ranks in the top 16% nationwide in the above factors. The Gold Medal is the highest honor available to school districts across the nation.
