President Dave Wright works as Chief of Financial Operations for the USDA’s Risk Management Agency. He has one daughter, Lauren, a Senior graduating in 2010. Dave is very active in the community, serving on several foundations, boards, and committees related to children, education, health, community engagement, and philanthropy. This is his ninth year on the board. Dave is the current Board President and also serves as President-Elect of the Missouri School Boards Association.

Vice-President Kent Bradford is a director with InforGlobal Solutions and has served on various community and professional organizations' boards. He has two daughters who graduated from the Blue Springs School District. Kent is serving his tenth year on the board. Kent is currently the Board Vice-President.

Treasurer Rhonda Gilstrap is serving her sixth year on board. She has four children and has been an active parent in the district, formerly serving as the district's PTA Council president for a two-year term and as chairperson of the Citizen's Advisory Committee. She is currently the Board Treasurer.

Member Dale Walkup and his wife operate Luckytime Dog and Car Wash in Blue Springs and are Partners in Destination Unlimited Travel. He formerly managed Wal-Mart and Sam's Wholesale Club. He has three daughters who graduated from Blue Springs School District and five grandchildren. Dale has been involved in several community organizations. He is serving his seventeenth year as a board member.

Member Jim Coen is a retired teacher who taught thirty-one years, twenty-seven of those years in the Fort Osage schools. His wife, Kay was a Blue Springs High School Librarian for 27 years and their two children graduated from Blue Springs High School. Jim is serving his eleventh year on the board. He remains active in several educational organizations.

Member Dale Falck works for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and is part owner of MDDK Homes LLC. Technology and finance are his passions integrated into serving the community and helping others. He belongs to several professional councils and volunteers on several local committees. He believes in mentoring our young people with over 15 years experience with different non-profit organizations. He is married with two adult children, graduates of BSSHS, and one child currently attending BSSD. This is his third year as a board member.
