Business Ownership
This course is designed for students wishing to gain knowledge of business ownership and management, practices and principles. Students will be provided with a background from the role of the entrepreneur, and discuss topics including creating a business plan, business location, forms of ownership, obtaining financing, managing and marketing a business.
Students will organize and prepare for a reality-based project at the end of the semester, where they will create a product to sell, make a price, delegate jobs, advertise, and sell to the students in our school during Wildcat Hour. They will compete with other groups for the highest profit!
Students are encouraged to join DECA, an assocation of marketing students.
