I am proud to hold three degrees from the University of Central Missouri State in Warrensburg, incuding Bachelor of Science, Master of Science in Education, and Education Specialist.  In 1998 I graduated with my Doctor of Education in Educational Administration degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

I am privileged to serve as the principal at Liggett Trail Education Center. Prior to coming to LTEC I served as principal at William Bryant Elementary (also in the Blue Springs School District) for fiften years. Prior to that position I was principal at Grandview Elementary in the Lafayette C-1 School District in Higginsville, MO.  My seven years of teaching experience were in the Raytown School District where I taught third grade, fifth grade, and gifted & talented classes for kindergarten through second graders.

I take great pride in the staff at Liggett Trail and the outstanding work they do with students.  They are a team of dedicated, highly qualified professionals who are committed to finding the best in every child and nurturing their social, emotional, physical, and academic development.  Each child's journey is respected and every milestone is celebrated.  I couldn't be prouder of the way they love each and every student entrusted to their care.  This is a very special school and I am proud to serve the families of the Blue Springs School District.
