Hello!! My name is Chrissy Lewis and this will be my fifth year as a teacher with the Blue Springs School District.I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree from TrumanStateUniversity in 2002 and received my teaching certification from CentralMissouriStateUniversity in December of 2007.While working on my certification I worked two years as a paraprofessional at the Freshmen Center for two students with autism, substitute taught for a year, student taught at Liggett Trail with Kristi Dickey and at John Nowlin with Jean Hill, and worked one semester as a classroom para with Rob Russ at Sunny Pointe Elementary School in the resource room.I have also had the opportunity to work at Special Services Center/Liggett Trail during seven ESY sessions.I completed my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from UCM in the fall of 2009.
Lynn Hake is the paraprofessional in my classroom.She has worked at Special Services Center/Liggett Trail for 8 years, and I have worked with Lynn both during my student teaching and over my 4 previous years at LTEC.She is a HUGE help in the classroom and the kids just love her.I just don’t know what we would do without her!
