COURSE REGISTRATION & REFUND POLICY

Pre-registration and payment is required for all classes.

We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and personal checks.

5 EASY WAYS TO ENROLL!


1.  Online E-Mail Registration -
Simply select the courses you are interested in from our class catalog or online class listing, select and complete the appropriate registration form from our web site (Community Ed, Real Estate or Appraisal/Home Inspection) including your Visa, MasterCard or Discover debit or charge card information, click the Submit by Email button at the bottom of the registration form. The next page you see will be your own personal email message preaddressed to our department, simply click the Send button.  Your registration form will automatically be forwarded to our department for processing.  We will always respond with an email confirming the receipt and acceptance of your enrollment.  If you do not receive our return message, please repeat the registration process or call our office at 816-224-1364

Please enroll early.  Enrollment is processed on a first come, first served basis.  Each class has a maximum number that may enroll, as well as a minimum number of students needed to support the class.  If you wait, the class may already be full, or a class may have been canceled because minimum enrollment wasn't met.  One or two people can sometimes make a difference between having a class or not having it.

You are enrolled when we receive your enrollment form and payment.  If enrolling by mail, you will not receive a confirmation letter.  If you want to confirm your enrollment, please call the Community Ed office at 816-224-1364.  We will notify you if a class is full, changed or canceled.   

Each student will receive an automated reminder call the night before class begins.  In case we miss you, please check your messages prior to coming to class.  You will be notified if a class is changed or canceled.

Employees of the Blue Springs School District and patrons age 65 and older are entitled to a $5 discount on most classes costing $20 or more.  Please mention discount when enrolling.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds are made if: 1) a class is filled to capacity BEFORE your registration is received; 2) a class is canceled due to low enrollment; or 3) a refund is requested at least 24 hours prior to the class start date minus a $5 per person processing fee.  Due to the cost of having classes, no refunds or exchanges will be given on the first day of a class or after a class begins.  Students are responsible for the risk of changes in personal affairs or health.  If you are unable to attend, you may send a friend or family member.  Just call the office with their name prior to the start of class.
