COMMUNITY EDUCATION
The Blue Springs School District continually emphasizes to our kindergartners through twelfth graders that learning is a process that happens throughout one’s life and not only in the classroom. A great example of this emphasis is the district’s Community Education program that offers a wide variety of educational experiences for our community’s adults and children. Our Community Education program has grown to be one of the finest programs offered in the Kansas City metropolitan area offering classes in career development, personal interests, computer software, foreign language, business & finance, arts & hobbies, sports & fitness, online courses, and a variety of classes designed especially for Community Kidz - all offered at a minimal cost. Tapping the expertise of district and community teachers, classes are offered in the evenings at schools throughout the district.
