DECA
DECA is an association of marketing students. Any students involved in a semester of Marketing I, Business Ownership, Sports & Entertainment Marketing, Marketing II, or Principles of Marketing can join this organization.
This is an amazing opportunity for students to network, travel, compete, participate in philanthropic activities, become a leader, and just get involved in school. We have a list of activites that we participate in all year round. Those are included in the course details.
To join, students have to sign up and pay a fee of $15. We hate to have students pay, but we have to send 2/3 of this to state and national dues, as well as afford the trips we go on throughout the year. My hope is that students take advantage of this awesome organization and enjoy the opportunities that is has to offer. Many scholarships can be availabe in the spring as well to seniors.
