Eligibility - Interscholastic Activities are open to all 8th graders.  Initial academic eligibility to participate is achieved by being promoted to the 8th grade.  To remain eligible, a student may fail no more than 2 classes in subsequent semesters.  A student who has been academically ineligible or becomes ineligible the preceding semester but meets the academic standard at the close of that semester becomes eligible/or ineligible the 5th day classes are attended in the succeeding semester.

Participation in Interscholastic Sports - on the 1st day of practice you must have:
1.  Athletic Participation Certificate and physical form completed;
2.  Grade card from previous semester to prove eligibility; and
3.  Code of Ethics signed by parents and student.

Citizenship Requirements - A student must be a creditable school citizen.  Creditable school citizens are those students whose conduct, both in school and out of school, will not reflect discredit upon themselves or their school.

The goal of all Delta Woods Middle School activities is to promote team building and good sportsmanship.  Participants represent our school and community.   Always show your Delta Woods Middle School pride.  We are always on display.  Inappropriate behavior will result in removal from clubs and extra-curricular activities.
