Delta Woods Middle School
Delta Woods Middle School is proud of the wide assortment of activities and the commitment of the staff to them. The school's mission of looking at the whole child and providing programs for their developmental needs permeates this commitment. The district-wide COMPASS Program gives students a vehicle for participating in community service projects. Clubs offer students the chance to socialize in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The Choices program is designed to help at-risk students diffuse situations preventing academic success and will expand next year to include every student in G.R.O.W. (Getting Ready for Our World) groups. Student forum groups give students a place to discuss issues related specifically to teens. All of these activities have as a goal students, staff, and families working together to create lifelong learners.
Participation in activities is encouraged through daily announcements and weekly bulletins, newsletters and flyers that go home to parents. Counselors and teachers actively encourage students to get involved in school-sponsored events in an effort to involve the whole child, physically and mentally.

Parent Connect is now available for MIDDLE SCHOOLS for 07-08 school year. Parents can download the handbook and responsibility form in the list to the left and review how it works.
Once you have submitted the online registration form, your User ID and password will be at your oldest child's school beginning the second week of August. Bring your identification (picture ID) to sign up for the account. Please do not use punctuation when submitting your information online.
