District awarded for ACT Programs

| The Blue Springs School District recently was awarded the 2008 ShowMe Award by the Missouri ACT State Organization Council. The award recognizes districts that raise awareness and preparation through the use of ACT programs and services. The BSSD strives each year to increase the number of students taking the ACT test and focuses on opportunities for students and parents to learn more about the test. In addition to the award, BSHS counselor Nancy Stevens and BSSHS counselor Barbara Legate will team up to present at next year’s ACT state conference.
