I was born in St. Louis, MO, and moved to Raytown where I completed most of my education. In my sophomore year our family moved to Windwor, MO. After graduation from Southwest Baptist University, I finished my Batchelor's Degree in 1966 at University of Central Missouri, majoring in music. I taught music in Raytown, MO, for five years, then had three children, and began teaching in Blue Springs in 1984. I received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from UCM in 2002.

5th grade is getting ready to perform "GOTTA BE JAZZ" on November 20th.
3rd grade will be performing in December.
