PLAN Test

All tenth grade students have the opportunity to take the PLAN test at both Blue Springs and Blue Springs South High School. This is a great opportunity to test our students' knowledge and skills and provide students with an pre-ACT assessment. PLAN tests are scheduled for the week of November 9th at Blue Springs High School and Blue Springs South High School during the 2007-2008 school year. Please contact the counseling staff at either school for more information regarding this test.

CTC Fort Osage & Summit Tech

Blue Springs High School and Blue Springs South High School provide complete programs with a variety of options to meet the diverse educational needs of our senior high students. The district offers the same 180 course curriculum at each school. Emphasis is placed on college and vocationally bound students. Senior Seminar is a required course designed specifically to prepare high school students for the outside world.

Students choose from a wide variety of sports and extracurricular activities. Blue Springs School District offers 19 competitive sports, plus band, orchestra, vocal music, art, drama, debate and academic recognition organizations. Students needing a nontraditional approach to high school subjects or who are at risk for dropping out of school have the option to attend the Valley View High School.
