I love teaching chemistry!   Learning about chemistry is fun and challenging.  What is chemistry?  It is the study of matter and the changes it undergoes.  I believe in order to grasp chemistry, you must do chemistry and that is fun.  Chemistry is challenging because we can not see molecules with our eyes, but we can see the consequences of their action.   

This is my twenty-seventh year of teaching chemistry, and my twenty-fifth year at Blue Springs High School.  I have a bachelor’s degree from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas, and a master’s degree from Lesley College.      

I teach chemistry 2nd, 3rd  and 4th hour.  The rest of the school day, my duties switch to 6-12 Instructional Coach.  Students may come in for extra help during Wildcat Hour (first session), 7 am and after school in my office.
