I have been teaching special education for 18 1/2 years. I am currently in my 11th year at John Nowlin Elementary in the Blue Springs School District. I previously taught in two smaller school districts and in the Missouri State School for the Severely Disabled system. In addition to 18 1/2 years in the public school system, I previously taught in a private pre-school for 4 years in Blue Springs.
I attended the University of Nebraska-Omaha and completed my Bachelor's in Education at Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri. I completed my Master's degree at CMSU as well.
