John Nowlin honored as Energy Star school

John Nowlin Elementary was recently honored for receiving Energy Star certification. JNE is one of only seven schools in Missouri to receive this recognition as a result of improving lighting, air quality and energy consumption in district buildings. "Our ‘Go Green’ Ecology Club was very excited about the Energy Star Award and it has reinforced their efforts to make John Nowlin Elementary energy efficient," JNE Principal Deborah Curtis said. "We at JNE are more aware and conscious of our environment and saving energy and our natural resources."
