Hi!

Welcome to my webpage.  I have been teaching in the Blue Springs School District for 21 years.  Prior to that I taught Deaf Preschoolers at Children's Mercy Hospital.   I hold a Bachlelor's Degree of Science Degree in Communication Disorders from Colorado State University  in Fort Collins, Colorado and a Master's Degree in Deaf Education from Ball State University in Munice, Indiana.  My current education with Blue Springs is Masters plus 40 extra graduate credits

I was born in San Jose, California and lived there for 6 years .  Then, my family moved to Houston, Texas while my Dad worked at the NASA Space Center.   We moved to Denver Colorado when I was in fourth grade and I have considered that my home.  People who know me, know I grew up in the outdoors, skiing or camping most weekends.

When I am not teaching, I hold a part time job with the American Red Cross as a Disaster Dispatcher. I like to read, knit,  garden and love to go to movies, kick back and enjoy a bag of popcorn!
