Outstanding Leadership, the Best Place to Work, and the Best Board to Work With 

Blue Springs School District Superintendent, Dr. Paul Kinder, was named the Superintendent of the Year for 2007 by the Missouri Association of School Administrators. He was honored for his commitment to the district, students, staff and education in Missouri. In addition, the Blue Springs School District was named the "Best Place to Work 2005" by the Kansas City Business Journal over all large companies in the metropolitan area. The district with over 2000 employees was commended for its structure and focus. The Blue Springs Board of Education was also awarded the "Outstanding School Board of the Year" by the Missouri School Boards' Association for 2005-2006. The Blue Springs School Board provides the leadership and support to our staff which in turn assures the greatest opportunities for all students in Blue Springs School District. These honors in addition to the multitude received by staff and students, demonstrate the dedication to teaching and learning and talents of our learning community.
