The company of S&T demonstrated true holiday spirit for Blue Springs School District students. Schools across the district submitted requests for new coats for students and these were filled. Employees delivered new coats to students in need as a part of their philanthropic tradition.
Approximately 100 students received new winter coats to keep them warm thanks to Sean and Gina Tebbe, owners of S&T. The committment to giving and caring is not new to S & T. This community friendly company works with school districts and civic organizations to make a difference. "We don’t just develop subdivisions, we plant communities. We work closely with city and school officials to enhance existing programs, and support them through our own contributions," said the owners. Representative of S&T Selina Jordan said "We care about our community families and we really want to give back." This was possible through a donation program that S&T began over three years ago to help students. S&T, various corporate sponsors and individuals throughout the Blue Springs area raised $5,000 for this year’s campaign. Businesses that work closely with S&T generously gave to the cause. The local Kohl’s department store assisted in the purchase and offered additional discounts for the coats. Students this season will be warm and know that the community cares. Special thanks to S&T for their caring and committment.
