Lesson Outline:

1. Students use the information from the table to create(by hand) a scatter plot for the data using the blank grid on page 2.
2. Teacher guides the students through the steps of creating the same scatter plot on the TI-83/84.
3. Students estimate the line of best fit from their own scatter plot using the slope-intercept form.
4. Teacher guides the students to find the regression model on the calculator and compare to their own results.
5. Answer questions in packet using info from calculator.
