I am beginning my 24th year of teaching.  This is my 15th year of teaching in the Blue Springs School District at Liggett Trail Education Center.

I received my BSed from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1986.  I received my MSed from Central Missouri State University in 1996.

I was chosen as the Teacher of the Year for Special Services Center for the 1997-1998 School Year.

I have been married to my husband, Brent, for 21 years.  We have two children, Ashley and Marcus.  Ashley is a sophomore at MU.  Marcus is a Junior at Blue springs South.  We have also been privileged to host two exchange students; Timo from Finland and Pierre from Germany.
