Mission and Objectives |

- Assist adults to become literate and obtain the knowledge and skills necessary for employment and self-sufficiency;
- Assist adults who are parents to obtain the educational skills necessary to become full partners in the educational development of their children; and
- Assist adults in the completion of a secondary school education.

Adult Basic Education Classes
- Reading, writing, and mathematics for learners functioning at or below the 8th grade equivalency.

Morning Classes
- Monday - Friday
- 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
|
GED Preparation Classes
- Reading, writing, mathematics, social studies, science and literature for learners functioning at the 9 - 12 grade level.
|
|
Evening Classes
- Monday and Thursday
- 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
|
English as a Second Language (ESL) Classes
- Classes providing non-English speaking people with the language skills needed to succeed in other educational/training programs and to cope more effectively with the challenges of their daily lives.

Family Literacy
- Classes and childcare are provided for parents and families that qualify.
|

Transition Programs
- Instruction specifcally designed to prepare adult learners to enter post-secondary education, higher education, training programs and/or to improve their employability.

Online Instruction
- Web-based program available to all eligible Missouri adults with busy work or family schedules.
