Important Student Policies
12 Day Attendance Policy: Any student who has twelve (12) absences in a class per semester, must have an excuse to receive credit for completed work for any subsequent absences. The excuse must be for a medical reason (verified by a doctor’s note within five (5) days of the absence) or an unavoidable family situation.
Electronics Policy: Students are allowed to use their Electronic Devices before and after school, during passing periods, and during lunch. Students should not use their Electronic Devices during academic periods (class time) even if they are outside the classroom. Students who use their Electronic Device inappropriately will be subject to disciplinary consequences. Please refer to the link to the left for further details.
Homework Request Policy: To request homework for a student, the student must have excused absences for 3 consecutive days (pre-absences for school events do not count as part of those days). The request must be made through the Counseling office before 9:30a.m. on the 3rd day your student is absent and it will be ready for pickup at 3:00p.m. that afternoon. Homework requests received after 9:30a.m. will be available the following school day. For any other homework information that does not involve 3 consecutive days of absence, please e-mail the classroom teacher.
