Welcome to Chapel Lakes Elementary.  We are energized and enthusiastic about the 2012-13 school year.  Chapel Lakes is an exciting place for students, staff, and community.  At Chapel Lakes, we strive to provide students with the skills, encouragement, and support to grow both academically and socially.  Our outstanding staff emphasizes building positive relationships with each child as we implement research based practices in our classrooms.  By partnering with families and the community, we can make this goal become a reality.  Please use our links to explore the many programs and activities that are part of the Chapel Lakes experience, as well as the opportunities available in the Blue Springs School District.

Chapel Lakes Kindergarten Enrollment for 2013-2014
Thursday, February 28, 2013:  Noon – 7 pm
Friday, March 1, 2013:  9 am – 4 pm

Parents will need the following items to complete the enrollment process:

1) Child’s state issued birth certificate;

2) Child’s complete immunization records (Missouri statute requires children to be current with immunizations before entering school); and

3) Proof of residency (a current water, gas or electric bill with name and address of enrolling parent/guardian – no shut off or disconnect notices accepted).  Any unusual residency issues must be approved, prior to enrollment, through the district’s Department of Public Safety located at 1501 NW Jefferson Street, Blue Springs, MO  64015, 816-224-1383.

4) A picture ID for the Parent/Guardian

5) Custody Papers if there is a divorce/separation

Your child does NOT need to be in attendance for enrollment

You will sign up for a screening appointment at enrollment
