Welcome to Delta Woods Middle School, Home of the Gators! Located in the southwest corner of the Blue Springs School District, Delta Woods serves students from Chapel Lakes, William Yates and Voy Spears Elementary Schools. In addition, we house the District's Hard of Hearing and Cognitively Impaired Programs.
Delta Woods embraced the middle school concept when it first opened its doors to students in 1999. This concept has been crucial in building student and staff relationships that align with our vision for developing responsible future leaders that will challenge and inspire the world. Our staff takes great pride in providing the optimum educational experience for our students. We believe that all children should be the recipients of innovative instruction that empowers students to develop critical problem solving skills.
We are very proud of our parents, students, teachers, PTA and community in the success of Delta Woods. Together we collaborate for the success of all. Activities include Generation's Celebration, Parent Lunch Week and Walk-A-Thon to collect money for local charities.
How does performing in "Alice in Wonderland" sound? What about challenging a friend to a game of chess? How about scoring the winning touchdown or cheering from the sidelines? Many of our students take advantage of these and many other extracurricular activities, clubs and intramural opportunities that are offered at Delta Woods.
Welcome to Delta Woods where "Gator Pride" prevails.
