About the Superintendent
Dr. Paul Kinder

Dear Students, Parents and Patrons,

We are excited to see the opportunities that lie ahead for our students in the Blue Springs School District.  We are committed to providing a high level of education for each student.  It takes a team of students, staff and community members to achieve our high level of distinction.

The district has achieved Accreditation with Distinction for the 13th year on the Annual Performance Report reviewed by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.  We are also proud to say that our district’s ACT score is 23, well above the state average.  These accomplishments are due to our devoted teachers and staff that serve our children every day as well as our supportive community members.

Our Board of Education has put us in a stable financial situation through budget reductions in recent years.  Because of that fiscal responsibility we have been able to replace positions as well as hire new staff due to increased enrollment numbers.  We strive to be good stewards of our taxpayers’ dollars while still providing a quality education.

Finally, I would like to thank you for your support of our students and district each year.  The continued support of our community, teachers and families allows us to provide a truly exceptional learning environment for our students.  You will notice safety and security changes around the district that were possible by your support of the bond issue last April.  I am honored to serve as Superintendent of the Blue Springs School District.
